EYFS

Summer 1

Ticket to Ride

Spring has sprung in Reception! We are really looking forward to exploring our learning with you, and learning about our universe in our new unit: Ticket to Ride

Our EYFS cohort is made up of two classes: Ash Class and Beech Class. Although we are two separate classes, we see ourselves as a unit. This means that our little people have targeted whole class inputs as Ash and Beech, but all of our continuous provision time is spent as a unit, meaning that children can learn with each other across the whole cohort!

On our class page you will be able to see all of the information that you need to find out about our learning throughout our time together.

Please check Dojo for regular updates and notices. If you have any questions at all please do not hesitate to contact us via Dojo or email - e.maguire@lms.epworthtrust.org.uk or s.cookson@lms.epworthtrust.org.uk

Exploring our Learning

Here is a sneak peak of some of learning throughout the year so far. Each slideshow is added to throughout the year, so make sure you keep an eye out for our most recent learning, as well as our prior learning. Please encourage your child to talk to you about the learning that is taking place in each picture.

The Great Outdoors

Let's re-decorate!

Our little learners have seen our site manager Mr Thompson making some changes to our Outdoor Classroom this week, and they decided that they wanted to help!  They gave a splash of colour to the tyres, to the Mud Kitchen cafe, and to the sheds. Some children helped Mrs Dougan with some gardening and learnt how to safely remove dead plants, and how to plant new seeds. They practiced their independent skills by tidying up any waste, and cleaning up their pallets, pots and brushes after painting.
