Keeping you up to date with all that is happening in school.

We have received the wonderful news that our schools have attained the Gold Award for sports provision from Lancashire Authority. Well done to all involved!
Our brand new multi-use games area has been installed at the rear of the Infant building complete with basketball hoops and football goals. We can't wait to use it!
We are very excited that the work to construct a new Multi Use Games Area at the Infant School has started this week. The plan is create a fenced area with a tarmac court for basketball and pitch for football. The design is similar to the one on the Upper Junior Playground but will be slightly smaller with equipment of basketball hoops and football goals suitable for our children in the infant school. This should be ready a couple of weeks into this last half term of the summer.
As part of the schools' response to the November OFSTED report for the Junior School, we have now included a new 'Communication' section under the Parents Menu of this website. This has new content which includes a quick reference flowchart for who to approach if you have a concern. We always hope that our children remain happy and thrive but if for any reason this is not the case, we would strongly encourage you to get in touch as quickly as possible so that any worries can be alleviated. We hope this quick guide supports this process.
We are absolutely delighted to receive our list of names for children offered places here at Leyland Methodist Schools. Our new Behaviour Policy has been uploaded to the website and can be found under the Key Info drop down tab and by selecting the Policies and Risk Assessment option. If you do wish to comment on the policy, you can send your comments to head@lmjs.lancs.sch.uk. Thank you.
